In order to provide higher education facilities to girls whose parents were averse to the co-educational system, the Trust founded the Aurangabad College for Women in 1969, later recoined as Dr.Rafiq Zakaria College for Women. It is pertinent to highlight that the academic programmes of the college particularly suit female students. Education is imparted to girl students in both arts and science streams. Apart from the usual graduation programmes, subjects like Home Science, Analytical Chemistry and Computer Science at B.Sc. level were also introduced. The college today encourages and equips more than 2000 girl students to undertake challenging careers and find their rightful place in the society.
